How did it come about that I was ranked number 1 for "xanga backgrounds" and have people continue to choose to click on it even though the caption says:
"... Same goes for all those idiots trying the find "xanga backgrounds." Xanga backgrounds are the same freaking thing as normal backgrounds. ..."
Who is stupid enough not to understand that that means I don't have them?
Serious, "xanga backgrounds" is the new "messageapp" for me. I still get messageapp.exe is not responding searches, but that's because my message app isn't responding and I talked about it.

Got my first call on the ambulance today. Yeah, wuhoo! I was finishing my lab practical final in the class. The two real EMTs on duty, bust in and tell me that we have a call. So I did the fastest medical assessment I had ever done, then rushed out.
It was just a transfer. Can't break patient-EMT confidentiality here, but I can say that it was a very boring, very routine transport of an MIT student from a local hospital back to MIT Medical.
Bush, you fool! I don't want to be paying for your stupid debt. What you need to do is check that email of yours, ignore the generic viagra ads and get some debt relief.
What's up with CBS and their Bush-loving censorship?

Whoever is searching for "Xanga Anime backgrounds wallpapers -hentai -ecchi -sex -porn -girl" really needs to die. Sure I like the hits, but no matter how many times you click on my site, there isn't going to be any "xanga" backgrounds (pornographic or not). Same goes for all those idiots trying the find "xanga backgrounds." Xanga backgrounds are the same thing as normal backgrounds.
Also, my college blog attracts the dumbest people. I get morons that type "Take the test im i clever enough to go to college/" into a search engine. Seriously, if you type something like this in a search engine, you are not clever enough to get into a college.
Update: What the? Of the last 60 referrals, 15 if them have been some form of search for "xanga backgrounds." I have to ask. I really hope that it's not the same person doing different searches yet still clicking on my site, as if it would suddenly have them and they just missed it the last time they checked. I posted it on Disturbing Search Requests and now they rank higher than me.

Played Mahjong again. First round. I got "7 Pairs". Yeah, it's one of the biggest hands in the game. Too bad it wasn't Pure (mine was mixed between the suits).
Almost did it again two more times. I kept dumping the wrong tiles. There would be one on the table already so I would throw it. Then, I would pick it up the next turn. One round it happened at least 5 times. Actually one time I was going for "13 Unique Wonders," but I messed up and switched strategies. Eventually, I picked up all the tiles necessary for "13 Unique Wonders," but had already switched. Hopefully my good luck will continue.
Again,
Happy Chinese New Year!.

Just played Mahjong for the first time. It was fun. I did pretty well. Beginner's luck. The last round was so good. I had my tiles lined up and I just needed one specific tile to win. So I kept discarding every tileI got hoping no one would win before me. Finally, 5 tiles left finally self-touched the right tile.
BTW,
Happy Birthday, Jessie!
(it was yesterday, but I didn't get back to my room until now)

Today we went to the Peabody Essex Museum to perform a lion dance for the Silk Road Project that Yo Yo Ma started. We never expected him to be there, but he was. And he's really really nice. Yup, we got to meet him. I have pictures from my camara phone.
Happy Chinese New Year!

Are these Chinese women hot?
I guess so, but Miss Chinese International? Nah. There are lots of better looking Chinese women. At least I think so.

Damn LaVerde's.
I just wanted my standard Chicken Cutlet sub. No, first I tell the woman to put the lettuce on top of everything else so that the chicken doesn't fall out. After failing to acquiesce to my request, some of the chicken falls out while she attempts to wrap it. Then she lifted the knife to split the sub in half like they do for every single one of the hundreds they sell everyday. Then, she set it down again and wrapped the sub. Yes, she remembered to pick up the knife but didn't remember to cut my freaking sub leaving me with the annoyance of holding the huge long sub all at once when eating it.
Grrr...what the hell! It really doesn't require much brainpower to make a freaking sandwich.

I need a watch with seconds counting capability for the purposes of taking pulses and marking down times while being a super cool EMT.
But my uber cool Fossil Chinese Big Tic, is broken.
It used to count the seconds in Chinese on the background LCD. Now it's just all black. But the hour and minute hands still move. I hope that doesn't mean I need a new watch. Cause I really like this one. And Fossil stopped making it.

Reached 15000 hits. Seemed like I was just at 10k yesterday.
Adjusted my Okcounter to make up about 800 hits that it failed to record but my Sitemeter logged.
I've been posting strange search engine referrals to Disturbing Search Requests. That's why I haven't posted them to the blog recently.

Wuhoo!
Just did my first shift on an ambulance. Nothing happened. We didn't get called. I guess that's a good thing. But I got to see all the cool stuff on the truck.
In other news, Bush signed the CAN-SPAM act. Apart from having a lame name that actually sounds like it gives permission to spam, it's probably not going to work.

96 second no flags expert!!!
That's 4 full seconds faster than my previous time. I'm only one more second from tying my best expert minesweeper score (with flags). Damn, I am good.

Shot some more pictures of EMT training.
My Bluetooth connection from camara phone to laptop is going crazy. I keeps asking for a code and I had to somehow add my laptop to my phone before I could get the pictures sent.
Get to ride in the MIT ambulance tomorrow for an 8 hour shift. Awesome fun, especially with the mad cold weather. So don't go outside if you don't need to. Cause I don't want to get called to a frostbite and/or hypothermia victim.
In other news, I put up a bunch of songs from The OC. They are on my media page.
In other other news, finally, someone that understands that most Asian cultures come from Chinese culture. Origami is not from Japan, it's from China. Kimchi is not from Korea, it's from China. Almost every Asian language branched from Chinese. Etc.

I got to ride in the ambulance today.
It was rocking. We did splints and back immobilization today. Applying traction is a pain and we have to practice that for the test though. I put pictures up.
In other news, the river finally froze over. I'm pretty sure that you can't walk on it yet, but it's been damn cold since winter break for it not to be frozen.

Just watched Pirates of the Caribbean again.
One of the best if not the best movie of the year. It's so good. But why is the rum gone?
Still, I fear that the Academy is going to fail to recognize it at all. With all the year end Oscar bait, some worth and some not so much. (LOTR:ROTK, Master and Commander, Big Fish, Cold Mountain, The Last Samurai). Being a summer movie, it is likely to have faded from the short attention span of most critics and other members of the Academy. That's disappointing.
I hate professional movie critics. Such a worthless profession. No one cares what they say. I've certainly never been persuaded or dissuaded from a movie by them. I'd rather trust my opinion and the word of mouth by friends.

Tonight's Alias was crazy. One of the best episodes yet. Finally connects to the previous seasons a little.
All the random stuff that they left suspended were answered. I love it how Lauren Reed is now evil. But she seems highly trained. Extremely highly trained. Also, the Convenant must have known they would need her to be able manipulate Sidney very very early on (ie. they planted her at most 9 months after Sidney "died").
I personally now think that Sloane is in charge of the Covenant. However, I wouldn't argue if you thought he is still reformed cause there certainly is evidence of that (though it could be a very elaborate fake on his part). I would definitely have to say that he is good enough to do that (if Lauren can do it, so can he).
bor ob din (11:15:46 PM): hey i just realized this
Frappuccino47 (11:15:49 PM): wassup
bor ob din (11:16:01 PM): sloane is now a quadruple agent
Frappuccino47 (11:16:09 PM): hahaha
Frappuccino47 (11:16:09 PM): waht
bor ob din (11:16:30 PM): cause he became "good" after sidney died
bor ob din (11:16:46 PM): then got caught by the covenant that one time
bor ob din (11:16:57 PM): then became a "double" for the CIA
bor ob din (11:17:43 PM): but he really planted himself in the CIA to get sidney to find the cube and thus finish the rambaldi prophesy
Frappuccino47 (11:17:56 PM): hmmm
Frappuccino47 (11:17:59 PM): interesting
bor ob din (11:18:07 PM): yeah, thats pretty crazy
bor ob din (11:19:03 PM): unless, sloane really is good and had no knowledge of what that envelope he gave sidney with the key in it was

Anyone heard of Karaoke Revolution? From the makers of DDR.
Konami is advertising it as the "first karaoke video game that actually judges your vocal talents." Well, that's just bullcrap. My parents bought a karaoke machine (one of the fancy ones that uses laserdiscs) at least five years ago. And yes, one of the many options is to score your singing. Two people can sing at once, effectively turinging it into Karaoke Revolution.

Britney Spears got married and then got it annulled immediately. How retarded is that? Kissing Madonna and now this. She just can't stand not being the most talked about celebrity even for just a little bit.

Damn it, I just saw a rat run across my room. Damn Baker mouse/rat problem.
My room is so clean, it shouldn't have rats. Must be all that stuff that Susan and Danielle are storing in my room. And that I had the windows closed and it got warm in my room.
So now the windows are wide open and it's sort of cold. Hopefully, my immunity to coldness will outlast the rat's endurance and he'll flee.

I'm leaving on a jet plane.
Back to MIT.
Finally got into that EMT class. Pretty happy. Banquet planning. Work a little in the ATIC Lab.
