Not going to work for
Northrop again this summer. It really doesn't make sense since I'm
Course 7 and
pre-med. I guess they felt the same way.
But that leaves me unsure of what to do. I can't get EMT certified until late June because of the unavailability of refresher courses that I need to take to transfer my MA cert. I dunno how many EMS companies would be willing to hire me for only two months.

In other news, Kelvin got me addicted to Fullmetal Alchemist. Arg...damn him...I don't have time to watch anime anymore.
Cartoon Network is
showing it in the fall. Dubbing is probably going to be weird. Oh well.
Ouch! My arm is fricking sore from badminton. That's what I get for not playing for a few months.
Back in SD.
In other news, I just checked my site visit logs. I got no hits from people searching for xanga backgrounds in the past day. What the heck is that? It's been about 30% of my site hits for the past few months. Well, I guess I should be glad since I really don't have any xanga backgrounds and I think that people going to my site in search of xanga backgrounds are stupid.
Catwoman sucks...but Spiderman 2 isn't really appealling to me either. I mean, what the hell did they do to Green Goblin in the first one. Though I heard they did a awesome job with Dr. Octopus and Spiderman is only third to X-men and Batman on my list, I'm still probably not going to see it.
[note: Damn, they took down the catwoman video before I had a chance to save it to my computer. Well, it was a video saying how much the
Catwoman movie is going to suck and telling you to see
Spiderman 2. Removed from pressured by the movie studio?]
This summer, I was kind of hoping to be able to avoid the abysmal lows of last summer's
site traffic. I think I only got slightly more that 200 hits in August. I could get that much in 2-3 days now.
However, I don't think it's going to happen. My traffic has been down a lot since the last day of classes. And I'm guessing that people are not going to have internet access from where they are working in the summer or that they'll be doing something much cooler than websurfing.
Oh well, this year, my website has had an amazing ride including these
two days. I'm estimating at least 20K hits this school year. Amazing.

In other news...
At New York's Kennedy airport today, an individual later discovered to be a public school teacher was arrested trying to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a setsquare, a slide rule, and a calculator. At a morning press conference, Attorney general John Ashcroft said he believes the man is a member of the notorious al-gebra movement. He is being charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction.
"Al-gebra is a fearsome cult," Ashcroft said. "They desire average solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in a search of absolute value. They use secret code names like 'x' and 'y' and refer to themselves as 'unknowns', but we have determined they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country. As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, 'There are 3 sides to every triangle'."
When asked to comment on the arrest, President Bush said, "If God had wanted us to have better weapons of math instruction, He would have given us more fingers and toes."

You are the chinese element of Water. People who
are under the element of Water are creative,
independent and intelligent. Water you are a
dreamer, but are quite vulnerable, and have
hidden agendas. The color of water is black,
and your symbol is the tortoise. Winter is the
season in which Water shines and it's months
are October/November. Your weather condition
is cold. Water is the direction of north, and
your day is Wednesday, while your planet is
Mercury. Animals under your element are
usually shelled. People under you are Turks.
Your sense is hearing, your taste is salty,
your sound is moaning and your virtue is
knowledge. Your organs are the kidneys. You
were created by Metal and control Fire.
Which of the 5 Chinese Elements Are You? brought to you by QuizillaI almost never do these anymore. However, I'm posting this due to it's strange accuracy. Water has always been my favorite element, but not only that. The description is pretty accurate. (Well, I have no idea about controlling shelled animals or having Turks under me.)
Great, my favorite
Evanescence Song has been released as
a single. Now it's going to get overplayed on the radio and everywhere else.
Today is one of those few rare days where Boston is 20 degrees warmer than San Diego. (That isn't the summer.)

It's pooping eggs. I'm surprised it isn't made by
Yaffa.

End of
quest.

Neat trick.

I'm so old. Not booze-legal but I can certainly pee standing up.
Doh...I think
OKcounter died.
That's what has been causing the slow loading on all my
webpage. As in, I think the page has only been loading after the request for my OKcounter times out. Grrr...that was the counter from the beginning of
my journal.
Sitemeter is missing about 3000 hits.
Rediscoving the
Drum Machine.
Stupid Rain...stupid power outage....stupid everything....
