Went to the beach for the first time this summer today. Quite amazing considering that I'm only about 5 min away.

Got there when it was high tide already. Getting there a few hours before is much better. The waves swell close to high tide size but there's still a good length from the waves to the beach that you can travel along.

On the way home today, saw this huge guy driving a Cooper MINI. What the hell is that? Personally, I think these should be exclusively driven by women.

Yeah, I just sounded extremely sexist. Oh well.

Yes, no name reviewer, you certainly showed those successful comic creators who's boss.

While your sentences are wordy, they still don't go deeper than "you suck". Maybe you could get off your self-righteous podium and explain why these comics are bad instead. I wouldn't take the hostility on your page seriously except, the humor that was meant is shallow or even non-existant. In which case, the only point on your page is the hostility.

PS Your comic sucks. It sucks so much that I'm not linking it for fear that you would get more hits. Oh wait, you are probably afraid that if linked, people would think on their own and decide that those comics are much better than your own.

Got back yesterday from a family trip.

The Webby Awards for this year were just chosen. Some pretty cool sites. map24 caught my eye. The maps this site creates make mapquest look primitive.

Blogs seem somewhat left out. Does that mean we're still indie? I can see things like audioblogging and moblogs being new, but "blogging" seems very much mainstream by now. Or maybe it's because blogs have their own awards.

Passed 30,000 hits on my website.

Don't have a cool Okcounter graphic since it died. I think it is back, but I haven't reinstalled it on my pages yet. Been using sitemeter exclusively (which started 3000 hits or so after my Okcounter).

Summer hit rate has been about half of what it was during the school year. Still, it's much better than last summer's usage.

Weird. For someone who is on their computer so much during the school year, I have essentially not been online this summer.

In other news, Kynam visited this last week. Came down just to have lunch. Well, I might not see him until he goes back to MIT next spring.

I'm signed up for the EMT refresher so I can get my CA EMT license. Might try to find an internship still.
