Yesterday I gave myself a black eye.
I was bodysurfing and I dived into a wave where it was very shallow and faceplaned into the sand. Then the wave smooshed me into the ground really hard.
This confirms my theory that I'm actually very stupid.

Last day of work at LJIMM.
It's not a good sign when the security guard only figures out your name on the very last day you work there. What kind of security is that? He just kept calling me "guy" or "dude" everytime he saw me up until just now.

Two and a half more days at work and I'm done!!!!!!
Yesterday I finally broke my previous best archery score. Got 26/30 at 20 yards. 3/6 arrows landed in the gold (the inner most ring). Yay.

Kelvin visited this weekend.
We went to the beach a lot cause he wanted a tan. I really don't see what the fascination with tans is. Well, whatever, got some good boogie board and body surfing time in.
Also went to some places I haven't been to for like 6+ years. Namely Old Town and the San Diego Zoo.

This is cool. Passed 35000 hits a few days ago and I didn't even notice. I think it's because of all the Gaia.

Summer traffic has been slow but not as slow as last summer, but still getting to 30000 was a bit faster I think.

Wheee....!!!!! It's over. It was ok I think. I keep feeling I majorly fucked up something and don't even realize.
Now there's just the waiting for the score to get sent. Both looking forward and dreading it. Takes them forever to grade it all though.

Wow, I haven't blogged for a while. I've been busy.
MCATs are this weekend. Studying sucks (so I've said), so I can't wait until it's over. Then, I can actually enjoy the remnants of my summer without some stupid test looming.
More shameless linkage:

In other news, 1984 references rock...

It always feels good when I do well in badminton.
Yesterday, I was playing doubles to 21 points and won with 12 aces in the game. That's pretty amazing under any condition, but one of the guys on the other side was wearing a US Open in Badminton shirt (yeah, doesn't mean he played in it, but still).
Then my dad's badminton friends decided to challenge my brother and me. Why do they do this? We blanked them 15-0. And it was 7-0 before they even got to serve and they didn't get the chance to score again. Sure, you get better by playing people better, but this doesn't help anyone. They have huge holes in their defense, so we don't even get a tiny bit of practice. Since they've been vastly outplayed, they don't learn anything new.
