My laptop is cursed.
It completely locks down randomly. Not just freezing because CPU is working at 100%. Everything just stops, no input or output. The only thing I can do is force it to power down. This has happened sometimes right after I just turned it on and haven't started any programs yet. It's annoying, but I've known about it since I got it around two years ago.
However, recently, there's been a change. Whenever I type out something fairly long (taking over say 5 minutes), it freezes and I have to redo the whole thing right when I'm about to click save or submit. I'll be moving my cursor to the button and it will freeze mid-path. I wouldn't be surprised if it locked up when I was about to submit this. It's happend at least 10 times already on important stuff this summer...while doing med school stuff.

Haven't seen Star Wars Episode III yet. These make me glad I didn't go wait in line....not that I ever would. I mean, it's just a movie. "Saw Episode III in costume at the first showing at midnight." There's a great resume builder.
I probably saw Matrix Reloaded at it's first showing. But that's cause I got to see it for free.

Back home.
I was so tired during my flights that I fell asleep like the moment I sat down. My lack of seat belt-age didn't seem to concern the flight attendants in any way. And I think (since they were still boarding when I feel asleep) I may have blocked people from moving into the center and window seats. Fortunately, the plane was pretty empty.
Finals week sure fucked up my sleep cycle. I'm still feeling the effects after sleeping a lot the past two days.

Went to a Brazilian BBQ place with Sean last night. So much meat....yum.
They just walk around with huge skewers of various meat dishes. And then they just cut meant off right into your plate.
So it's basically a buffet where they don't try to give you filler foods that you don't want and you don't even have to go get your own food. It's like the best possible arrangement...though it was a bit salty.

Happy Mother's Day!
Yeah, I'm rocking the time travelling post. Yeah, I basically spent Mother's day running the drills for MIT EMS. It's nice to be on the proctor side of the drills. Now that drills have a well established precedent for extreme twists, it's hilarious to see people be extremely overly cautious about every possible thing.
My station didn't really have a twist...except for the dying that happened if you fucked up. Then my victem got bored and decided to set himself up in interesting places...like on top of a vending machine, which the crew climbed on too and then almost fell over...good thing the area was crawling with EMTs.
