Sometimes
I forget I'm still awake
I fuck up and say these things out loud

Don't look at me that way
It was an honest mistake
Don't look at me that way
It was an honest mistake
An honest mistake

CSC New Years Banquet last night. Only exec member that didn't leave or miss part of the setup and/or event itself. That's not right.

AV was pretty smooth. For good reason. But once again, I was pretty much unable to watch most of the performances or eat any of the food. Whee.....

I checked my email using the Project lab computer. Then I sigh off and walk home. I get home like 10 min later...and 17 new messages. SEVENTEEN! Non-spam too.

17 emails seems to be some kind of theme.

Whee...it's Valentine's Day. Not exactly my favorite holiday. In fact, far from it.

In any case, yesterday, Heartsafe (with support from MIT EMS and ARCTAN) attempted a 100 person CPR class. We got up to 90+ people in the end. It was pretty amazing. To spell it out, CPR...heart....Valentine's Day...yeah.....

Drill session for MIT EMS today.

First one for the newbies. Yeah. They totally need to learn to be more assertive. And lots of other stuff. N00bs! Just kidding.

Also, my first shift in about 2 months. Nothing happened. Most people were probably doing nothing dangerous cause of the blizzard. People are so weaksauce. I'm from fricking Cali...so is Will Baker. Yet, we went outside and played in the fricking snow. And I was only wearing a windbreaker. It feels weird not working a lot this semster...project lab is going to suck. 4 hours every day. Okay, that doesn't sound like a lot, but last semester I didn't really have class two days of the week and only 1 hour another day.

REG DAY.

Met with advisor. Taking Project lab and the only bio elective that fits the schdule with Project lab, 7.28. It's going to be a sucky semester.

Flying out of town tomorrow. Whee. Gotta get all my shit together before then. Almost missed the HASS Conc Completion form sign off guy cause he was at a meeting. That would have sucked...cause I would only have one chance to catch him really early tomorrow before I'd be turning it in late and having to pay a $40 late fee. Filled out the Degree form for seniors graduating. It was a pretty insignificant form considering the importance of it. Random errands to run that collected over IAP.

Back in Boston.

It feels good. Kind of tired. I hate wasting my whole day flying. Yet somehow I have no motivation to sleep. Insomnia is sucky. What is more sucky is I'm not going to be able to get into any kind of more routine schedule. Reg day...then one day of class...then flying around and interviewing at three different schools, then EMSing stuff on the weekend. I'm gonna be so damn tired.

Senior quote(s) for the yearbook are:
The return we reap from generous actions is not always evident.
_Francesco Guicciardini

We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.
_Buddha

In an effort to be all "meta" and analyzing about it, the first is from my copious amounts of community service. The second is kind of arrogant...in that by "we", I mean MIT people. Yeah....

In other news, the yearbook staff are idiots. They emailed out asking for info (like quotes and your activities) a week and a half ago and today is the deadline. That's a whole week and a half. And it's during IAP. The yearbook is not something new. It happens every damn year. Why the hell can't they send this out earlier so people have more time? They know they are going to need it. People go off to wherever to do things during IAP...and don't have access to their email. So dumb.
