The research I did during the summer after first year. I had a poster presentation on it at the Regional Meeting of the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine. Also known as the NERDS Conference. For New England Emergency Medicine Research Directors. Yeah. It's kind of a stretch. A stretch that nerds would make. Bam.
It was held at UMass School of Medicine. They have a pretty sweet setup there. Med school is pretty spacious. And the hospital seems nice. They have a new ED that is very well set up. A lot better than some of the setups that have been squeezed into Boston hospitals that have no space to expand.
Note: if anyone is actually looking that closely, it lists me with a BA on the poster...but my PI wasn't aware that it should be an SB when he printed the poster. Oh well.
